Product Description

Hardman Double/Bubble 04001 Extra Fast-Set Epoxy is a 3.5 g premeasured, two-part epoxy packet for fast structural bonding, fixturing, patching, and repair. The amber liquid mixes at 1:1 by volume and has a 3 to 5 minute gel time at 25 deg C, followed by 15 to 30 minute handling time and full cure in 24 hours at 23 deg C. Typical cured data include 3,000 psi overlap shear strength on acid-etched aluminum at 25 deg C and 80 Shore D hardness. The grade bonds metals, wood, concrete, ceramics, stone, glass, leather, and many plastics.

Key features

  • Premeasured 1:1 packet: The 3.5 g dual pouch keeps the two components portioned for one-shot mixing.
  • Fast handling: Handling strength develops in 15 to 30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Cured structural strength: Typical overlap shear strength is 3,000 psi on acid-etched aluminum at 25 deg C.

Applications

Applications include fast bonding, patching, fixturing, and repair of metal, ceramics, glass, wood, concrete, stone, leather, and selected plastics.
