LORD 320/322

Main features

  • Primerless Automotive-SMC Adhesion
  • -40 to 204 deg C Service Range
  • Solvent-Free Nonflammable Epoxy

Product Description

LORD® 320/322 Epoxy Adhesive is a general-purpose, two-component epoxy adhesive formulated for primerless adhesion to automotive sheet molded compounds (SMC). It also provides excellent adhesion to prepared metals, rubber, fiberglass reinforced plastics, polyester thermosets, thermoplastics and other supported materials. The solvent-free system can be cured at room temperature or with heat for faster processing and provides durable performance across mixed-stress, high-temperature shear and low-temperature peel joint designs.

Key Features

  • Primerless adhesion to automotive SMC with documented bonding to prepared metals, rubber, FRP, polyester thermosets and thermoplastics.
  • Durable structural performance with impact resistance down to -40°F (-40°C) and resistance to humidity, sunlight, salt spray and temperature extremes.
  • High-temperature process resistance supporting postbake exposure up to 400°F (204°C).
  • Solvent-free formulation that is nonflammable and virtually odorless.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Automotive sheet molded compound bonding
  • Prepared metal and composite assemblies
  • Fiberglass reinforced plastic, polyester thermoset and thermoplastic bonding
  • Prepared natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber bonding
