Product Description
LOCTITE LB 8504 is a one-component, non-metallic graphite and petrolatum anti-seize paste for threaded and fitted metal joints. The dark gray paste is applied full strength to machine threads, tapered pipe threads, press-fit joints and slip-fit joints. It has a typical penetration of 310 to 360 in 0.1 mm units under ISO 2137 and a specific gravity of 1.18 at 25 deg C. The formulation is electrically conductive in metal-to-metal joints and supports an operating range from -29 to 482 deg C. A torque coefficient of 0.13 is reported on the specified steel bolt-and-nut configuration.
