Product Description
LOCTITE LB 8017 is a one-component molybdenum-disulfide solid-film lubricant for lubrication and anti-seize service. The black coating can be brushed, dipped or sprayed onto clean metal surfaces, dries in 60 minutes at 25 deg C, and does not require mixing. A typical dry-film coverage of 55.7 m^2 per 4.5 kg is reported at 0.018 mm thickness. The applied film supports continuous sliding-friction service from -29 to 400 deg C and anti-seize use from -29 to 1315 deg C. Heat curing at 204 to 260 deg C thermosets the film for increased resistance to fluids and solvents.
