- 120-Minute Working Life
- Peel, Impact, Thermal-Shock, and Chemical Resistance
- Aerospace and Industrial Bonding
Product Description
LOCTITE® EA E-120HP is a two-component, high-viscosity epoxy adhesive with an extended working life and room-temperature cure. The resin and polyamide hardener mix at a 2:1 ratio by volume to form a tough, amber-beige bondline with resistance to peel, impact, thermal shock, solvents, and chemicals. The adhesive bonds dissimilar materials, including aluminum, steel, other metals, plastics, and ceramics. Its combination of a 120-minute working life and durable cured properties supports aerospace nose-cone bonding and low-stress general industrial assemblies requiring high peel and impact strength.
Key features
- Extended working life: The mixed adhesive has a typical working life of 120 minutes for applications requiring additional assembly time.
- Tough cured bondline: The room-temperature-curing epoxy is formulated for resistance to peel, impact, and thermal shock.
- Broad substrate bonding: Suitable for bonding aluminum, steel, other metals, plastics, and ceramics.
Applications / Suitable for
- Aerospace nose-cone bonding
- Low-stress general industrial assemblies requiring high peel and impact strength
- Bonding dissimilar metals, plastics, and ceramics
