Product Description
LOCTITE EA 1C is a two-part epoxy adhesive and sealant designed for bonding, sealing, and repair applications involving metals, most plastics, and wood. The system consists of an off-white resin and green hardener mixed at a 2.5:1 volume ratio and cures at room temperature after mixing, with optional heat curing to accelerate property development. The adhesive offers a combination of machinability, sandability, high service temperature capability, and low outgassing characteristics. After curing, it develops strong adhesion to aluminum substrates, good thermal conductivity, electrical insulation properties, and resistance to environmental exposure, making it suitable for demanding industrial assembly and repair applications.
