Product Description
LOCTITE® 262™ is a medium to high-strength anaerobic threadlocking adhesive designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded metal fasteners. The one-component acrylic formulation cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces to prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. LOCTITE 262 is particularly suitable for locking and sealing large bolts and studs up to M25 size and features a thixotropic consistency that minimizes migration after application. The cured adhesive delivers reliable resistance to heat, oils, fuels, brake fluids and other industrial fluids while providing dependable fastener retention in demanding environments.
