Product Description
LOCTITE® 2047™ is a one-component anaerobic threadlocker formulated for high-strength locking of threaded fasteners while providing enhanced lubricity. Designed for assemblies requiring reliable resistance to loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration, the product cures when confined between closely fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air. Its specialized lubricant additives provide lubricity comparable to conventional metal-free anti-seize products while maintaining threadlocking performance. LOCTITE 2047 features a deliberately slow cure profile that allows multiple fasteners to be torqued in large assemblies before curing begins, making it particularly suitable for large, highly torqued bolt applications where assembly-generated heat could otherwise cause premature curing.
