- Titanium-Reinforced Epoxy Putty
- Non-Sag Placement Control
- Machinery Repair Applications
Product Description
DEVCON® Titanium Putty (10760) is a two-component, titanium-reinforced epoxy repair putty for rebuilding and restoring worn machinery and precision metal parts. The grey, non-sag material can be applied in sections up to 1/2 inch thick on vertical surfaces and cures to a machinable finish that can be drilled, tapped, painted, or machined. Typical cured performance includes 15,200 psi (105 MPa) compressive strength, 2,000 psi (14 MPa) adhesive tensile shear strength, and dry temperature resistance to 350°F (177°C). It is supplied as a premeasured resin-and-hardener system with a 21-minute pot life at 72°F (23°C).
Key features
- Titanium-reinforced repair putty: Restores worn or damaged metal parts requiring a durable, machinable finish.
- High compressive strength: Develops a typical compressive strength of 15,200 psi (105 MPa) after curing for 7 days at 75°F (24°C).
- Non-sag application: Can be troweled onto vertical surfaces at thicknesses up to 1/2 inch without sagging.
Applications / Suitable for
- Restoring bearing housings and scored shafts
- Rebuilding wear rings, hydraulic rams, and valves
- Repairing machinery and precision parts requiring a machined finish
