Product Description
BONDERITE L-GP LS 2127 ACHESON (formerly known as ACHESON LS-2127) is a boron nitride-based protective coating formulated for high-temperature processing of non-ferrous metals. It functions as a mold release, anti-stick agent, and precoat lubricant for demanding thermal processes, helping improve die and mold life while preventing adhesion of non-ferrous alloys to coated surfaces. The water-based coating can be applied by brushing, dipping, or spraying after appropriate dilution, making it suitable for a variety of industrial high-temperature applications.
Key Features:
- High-temperature mold release for non-ferrous metals up to 1649°C (3000°F).
- Anti-stick protective coating for high-temperature processing applications.
- Non-reactive boron nitride formulation with fine particle size.
- Helps increase die life and mold life cycles.
- Can be applied by brush, dip, or spray using water dilution as required.
Applications / Suitable For:
- Isothermal forming die lubricant and precoat.
- Laser drilling operations.
- Brazing protective coating.
- Welding protective coating.
