Product Description
ARALDITE® AV 8503 Resin / Hardener HV 8503 is a two-component epoxy adhesive paste developed for bonding sheet molding compound, plastics, and metals. The blue resin and beige hardener mix at a convenient 1:1 ratio by volume and form a non-sag paste with approximately 100 minutes of pot life at 25°C. The adhesive combines good flexibility with heat resistance and can achieve rapid handling strength using a heated fixture. Its surface-preparation requirements are limited to a dry wipe before bonding, supporting straightforward assembly processes where controlled paste application and accelerated heat cure are required.
