Main features

  • 31 N/mm^2 Aluminum Lap Shear
  • 60-Minute 100 deg C Cure
  • Semi-Rigid Cured Material

Product Description

LOCTITE® ABLESTIK D 275 is a one-component, heat-cured epoxy adhesive for high-strength structural bonding of metals, plastics, and ceramics. The black liquid cures to a semi-rigid material intended to reduce stress on bonded components while providing good toughness. Typical cured performance includes aluminum-to-aluminum tensile lap shear strength of 31 N/mm² at 25°C and tensile peel strength of 2,100 N/m. Guideline cure schedules range from 60 minutes at 100°C to 6 minutes at 160°C, with a documented operating-temperature range of -40 to 130°C.

Key features

  • High structural-bond strength: Typical aluminum-to-aluminum tensile lap shear strength is 31 N/mm² at 25°C.
  • Fast heat-cure options: Guideline schedules include 60 minutes at 100°C, 20 minutes at 120°C, or 6 minutes at 160°C.
  • Semi-rigid cured material: Designed to reduce stress on bonded components while maintaining good toughness and peel strength.
