Product Description
LOCTITE ABLESTIK 2111 BIPAX is a thixotropic, two-component epoxy adhesive formulated for ease of use, with a non-drip, non-sag rheology suited to vertical and overhead assembly work. Supplied as a hazy white resin and hardener at a 100:30 mix ratio in a BIPAX mixing-dispenser package, this solvent-free system cures at room temperature over 24 hours or faster with an accelerated schedule, and supports continuous service from -70°C to 100°C. It offers good wetting, improved impact strength, and excellent thermal, mechanical shock, and environmental resistance, making it suitable for bonding, laminating, staking, repair, and manufacturing across glass, ceramic, fabric, wood, leather, most metals, and many plastics.
Key features
- Non-drip, non-sag rheology: Thixotropic formulation with good wetting for vertical and overhead applications.
- High lap shear strength: 24 N/mm² (3,500 psi) on aluminum-to-aluminum bonds.
- Broad substrate versatility: Bonds glass, ceramic, fabric, wood, leather, most metals, and many plastics.
Applications / Suitable for: Bonding, laminating, staking, repair, and manufacturing assembly applications across a wide range of substrates.
