Product Description

3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive EC-3501 B/A Gray is a gray, rapid-curing two-part epoxy for structural bonding and surface repair on prepared metals, composites, and selected plastics. Equal-volume mixing, a 6 to 10 minute work life at 24 deg C, and thixotropic flow support controlled placement in short-cycle assembly or repair. It can fill pinholes and localized surface porosity in cured fiber composites. After cure, the adhesive reaches Shore D 75 to 80 hardness and delivers 3200 psi aluminum overlap shear at 24 deg C with FPL-etched adherends.
