Product Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 2214 Hi-Temp New Formula is a one-part, 100% solids, aluminum-filled epoxy adhesive designed to deliver high strength at elevated temperatures. Curing at 121°C (250°F), this deaerated, paste-consistency adhesive is specifically formulated for bonding metals and high-temperature plastics such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic, polyester, and phenolics. It is engineered to maintain robust performance in demanding environments requiring higher strengths between 82°C and 177°C (180°F to 350°F).

Key features

  • High-temperature strength: Maintains strong, reliable bonds in demanding thermal environments from 82°C to 177°C (180°F to 350°F).
  • One-part, heat-curing formula: Eliminates mixing requirements and cures thoroughly in 60 minutes at 121°C (250°F).
  • Versatile substrate bonding: Effectively adheres to metals and various high-temperature plastics, including fiberglass-reinforced plastics and phenolics[cite: 10].

Applications / Suitable for

  • Bonding metals in high-temperature environments
  • Adhering high-temperature plastics such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic, polyester, and phenolics
  • Applications requiring high structural strength between 82°C and 177°C (180°F to 350°F)
