- Ultra-lightweight mixed density
- Two Class B work lives
- 360 deg F intermittent exposure
Product Description
Royal Sealants WS-8032S Class B Ultra-Lightweight Fast-Cure High-Temperature Sealant is a two-part polysulfide paste for lightweight, fast-cure sealing of aircraft fuel tanks and fuselage structures. The chemically cured Class B system is supplied in B-1/2 and B-2 application-life variants and can be applied by extrusion or spatula spreading. Its low-sag, thixotropic handling supports controlled placement, while the cured material is documented for intermittent exposure up to 360 deg F. The product combines low density with defined cured tensile, elongation, hardness, and low-temperature-flexibility data for aerospace sealant evaluation.
Key features
- Ultra-lightweight sealant: Uses an approximately 1.15 g/cc mixed density
- Controlled Class B profiles: Provides 0.5- or 2-hour application life
- High-temperature exposure: Supports intermittent conditions up to 360 deg F
Applications
Aerospace fuel tank and fuselage sealing where the documented WS-8032S Class B process, substrate, temperature, and qualification scope apply.
