Product Description
MOLYKOTE® G-5042 Silicone Automotive Service Grease is a purple silicone grease formulated with a siloxane base oil and a lithium soap thickener. Designed specifically for the long-term lubrication of metal-to-plastic and plastic-to-plastic material pairings, it delivers excellent low-temperature properties and significantly reduces friction in automotive assemblies. Its distinct color makes it easy to visually confirm that the grease has been successfully applied to control cables, starter motor overrun clutches, and windshield wiper motor gears.

- Broad temperature range: Provides reliable, long-term lubrication across an operating temperature range of -50°C to +170°C (-58°F to +338°F).
