Product Description
MOLYKOTE® 7415 Thinner is an organic solvent specifically formulated for diluting and cleaning select MOLYKOTE® Anti-Friction Coatings (AFCs). Composed primarily of N-Ethyl-2-pyrrolidone, this transparent, yellowish liquid allows operators to finely adjust the application viscosity of solid lubricant coatings prior to spraying or brushing. Its carefully tailored evaporation profile ensures stable viscosity and smooth application without premature flash-off.

- Controlled evaporation: Features a low evaporation rate and a high boiling point (213°C), preventing the coating from drying too quickly during complex or prolonged application processes.
- Precise viscosity control: Enables users to thin concentrated anti-friction coatings down to the exact desired viscosity for optimal film thickness and surface finish.
- Clean formulation: Formulated without intentional polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
