Product Description
LOCTITE UK 2073 / LOCTITE UK 2173 Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant System pairs two solvent-free polyurethane components for elastic bonding and sealing of plastic and multi-material automotive assemblies. Components A and B are nominally meter mixed at 2:1 by volume through a static mixer, with a 3 to 4 minute open time at 40 deg C. The room-temperature cure develops a flexible bond with 300% elongation, 3.5 to 4.5 MPa tensile strength, and Shore A 60 to 70 hardness. It is particularly suited to low-surface-energy plastics including PP talc and PP LGF, as well as PC/ABS and PC/PET, in spoilers, tailgates, roof systems, bumpers, dashboards, and trim.
