- Good Temperature Resistance
Product Description
LOCTITE® SI 595 is a one-component, room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) acetoxy silicone sealant formulated to provide flexible, durable sealing and bonding for mechanical assemblies. Upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, it cures into a tough silicone rubber seal that resists aging, weathering, UV exposure, ozone, and thermal cycling without shrinking, cracking, or hardening. The clear silicone formulation offers excellent adhesion to most substrates and is commonly used for electrical insulation, trim bonding, and sealing applications involving ducts, vents, flues, doors, and windows.
