Product Description
LOCTITE SF 7701 Primer is a clear, one-part n-heptane primer for preparing polyolefin and other low-energy surfaces for bonding with LOCTITE cyanoacrylate adhesives. The very-low-viscosity liquid contains 0.08% to 0.12% active ingredient, dries in 30 seconds or less at 20 deg C, and remains active on the part for up to 8 hours. It is intended for difficult-to-bond materials including polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, and thermoplastic rubber. The primer also accelerates cyanoacrylate fixture, while maximum bond strength develops after 24 hours at 22 deg C.
