Product Description
LOCTITE SF 7649 Primer N Activator is a one-part acetone-based surface treatment that accelerates cure of LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives and sealants. The transparent green liquid can be brushed, sprayed, or pre-applied and dries in 30 to 70 seconds at 20 deg C. It is used on passive metals, inactive surfaces, large bond gaps, and assemblies below 15 deg C. Activated parts can remain ready for bonding for up to 30 days when protected from contamination. After the solvent evaporates, the anaerobic adhesive is applied separately and the assembly is secured until fixtured.
