Main features

  • UV/Visible-Light Adhesive Cure
  • Direct PVC-to-Polycarbonate Bonding
  • Low-Viscosity Adhesive Application

Product Description

LOCTITE® AA 3104™ is a one-component UV and visible light-curing acrylic adhesive designed primarily for bonding rigid or flexible PVC to polycarbonate. The transparent liquid formulation cures rapidly upon exposure to ultraviolet or visible light, enabling high-speed manufacturing processes and efficient assembly operations. Its low-viscosity characteristics allow easy application in close-fitting assemblies, while the cured adhesive provides flexibility that enhances load-bearing and shock-absorbing performance. LOCTITE AA 3104 demonstrates excellent adhesion to a broad range of substrates including polycarbonate, PVC, glass, many plastics and most metals.

Key Features & Benefits

  • UV and visible light-curing adhesive for rapid production processing.
  • Specifically developed for bonding PVC to polycarbonate.
  • Transparent formulation for aesthetically clean bond lines.
  • Low-viscosity adhesive supports easy dispensing and wetting.
  • Flexible cured bond enhances shock absorption and load distribution.
  • One-component system requiring no mixing.
  • Excellent adhesion to plastics, glass and metal substrates.

Recommended Applications

  • Polycarbonate-to-PVC bonding.
  • Joining flexible PVC tubing to polycarbonate components.
  • Transparent plastic assembly applications.
  • Glass-to-plastic and plastic-to-metal bonding.
  • High-speed manufacturing processes utilizing UV curing systems.
