Main features
- Flexible RTV Silicone Microwave Absorber
- 100:1.00 Controlled Mixing
- 1.0 W/(m K) Thermal Conductivity
Product Description
ECCOSORB™ CRS-124 Castable Silicone Absorber is a two-part, magnetically loaded RTV silicone microwave absorber that cures to a flexible elastomer. The CRS-124 grade uses a 100:1.00 Part A-to-Part B mix ratio and may be poured into cavities, cast into cones, wedges, pyramids, terminations, loads, or microwave gaskets, and shaped to contoured surfaces. The system cures overnight at room temperature or in three hours at 80°C. Typical cured properties include 1.0 W/m·K thermal conductivity, Shore A 75 hardness, low water absorption, and service below 160°C.
Key features
- Flexible silicone absorber: The cured elastomer can be shaped to contoured surfaces and withstand impact or shock.
- 1.0 W/m·K thermal conductivity: CRS-124 provides the higher thermal conductivity of the two CRS grades.
- Pour-in-place processing: The material can form cavities, loads, gaskets, and custom absorber geometries.
Applications / Suitable for
- Microwave terminations and loads
- Pour-in-place microwave gaskets
- Cavity filling and contoured absorber surfaces
