Product Description
EPOCAST® 1511 A/B is a high-density, non-flowing, two-part epoxy syntactic paste for edge filling honeycomb structures and metal fairings, as well as for bonding applications. The gray mixed system uses a 100:15 resin-to-hardener ratio by weight and provides a typical 40–60 minute work life for a 50 g mass at 25°C. It can cure for 24 hours at room temperature or be gelled at room temperature and post-cured for 5 hours at 52°C. After cure, typical properties at 25°C include 69 MPa compressive strength and 310 MPa compressive modulus. EPOCAST® 1511 A/B is qualified to BMS 5-28, Type 3.
