Product Description

CONATHANE® EN-2553 Polyurethane Encapsulant is a two-component, filled, flame-retardant polyurethane potting system for electronic components, modules, circuit boards, assemblies, and related devices. The brown Part A and black or blue Part B are mixed at 17:100 by weight to produce a typical initial viscosity of 4,500 cP and a 55-minute work life at 25°C. The system is documented for low-stress cure and thermal-shock resistance, with cure options of seven days at 25°C or 16 hours at 80°C. Typical cured properties include Shore A 95 hardness, 60% elongation, and UL 94 V-0 at 3 mm.
