Product Description
DOWSIL 795 Silicone Building Sealant serves structural and nonstructural glazing, panel attachment and weathersealing with a one-part, neutral-cure silicone formulation. The non-sag material provides a 20-30 minute working time, three-hour tack-free time and seven- to fourteen-day cure at 25 deg C and 50% relative humidity. After 21 days, the sealant has Shore A 35 hardness, 32 lb/in peel strength and +/- 50% joint movement capability. Structural applications require a properly designed joint, substrate testing, installation controls and prior approval by the local Dow sales application engineer.
