DOWSIL 7092
Harmonization Code : 3919.10.80 | Other self-adhesive plastic rolls not exceeding 20 cm wide.

Main features
- Immediate Green Strength
- One-Component, Neutral Moisture-Cure Formulation
- Flexible Cured Adhesive
Product Description
DOWSIL™ 7092 High Green Strength Adhesive and Sealant is a one-component, neutral-cure silicone adhesive and sealant that develops immediate green strength after application. Its fast initial strength supports earlier handling and processing of bonded units while moisture cure continues at room temperature. The non-sag, paste-like material cures to a tough, flexible rubber and remains stable and flexible from -50°C to 150°C. It provides unprimed adhesion to commonly used materials including certain steels, aluminum, glass, polycarbonate, PA, and PBT, while plasma treatment may support adhesion to selected PP, PMMA, and ABS substrates. Preliminary application testing remains necessary, particularly for low-energy plastics.
Key features
- Immediate green strength: Builds handling strength directly after application to support faster movement of bonded assemblies through production.
- One-component neutral moisture cure: Cures at room temperature without component mixing and forms a tough, flexible silicone rubber.
- Non-sag application and broad evaluated adhesion: Paste consistency supports controlled bead application on assemblies using selected glass, metal, and engineering-plastic substrates.
Applications / Suitable for
- Bonding and sealing applications requiring immediate handling or continued processing
- Assemblies using glass with selected steel or aluminum substrates
- Assemblies using selected engineering plastics, subject to substrate-specific adhesion testing
