Main features
Product Description
Circalok™ 6712 is a two-component, low-viscosity, solvent-free silicone encapsulant that cures at room temperature to form an elastomeric, stress-relieving rubber with excellent electrical insulation and high-temperature performance. It is designed for potting and encapsulating densely packed electronic components and for producing flexible molds. The material offers a typical viscosity of 7,250 cP, continuous service temperatures from -55 to 205 °C, intermittent exposure up to 300 °C, and low linear shrinkage after cure.
Key Features
- Low-viscosity, solvent-free silicone for room-temperature curing and encapsulation of densely packed assemblies.
- Outstanding electrical insulation with high dielectric strength, high volume resistivity, and stable dielectric properties.
- Wide service temperature capability with continuous operation from -55 to 205 °C and intermittent exposure up to 300 °C.
Applications / Suitable for
- Potting electronic components
- Encapsulating densely packed electronic assemblies
- Manufacturing flexible molds
