Product Description
Circalok™ 6053 Mold Release Agent is an aerosol-applied mold release formulation based on organic and silicone polymers. Formerly identified as EMR-1023, it is intended to release epoxy, polyester, synthetic rubber, and flexible or rigid urethane molding compounds, including TDI- and MDI-based urethane elastomers and polyether or polyester urethane foams. The formulation is described as heat resistant, oxidation resistant, and capable of forming a high-strength release film that helps protect mold surfaces and limit mold buildup. Circalok 6053 is supplied in 16-ounce aerosol cans for direct application to molding tools.
