CONAP AD-1147-C
Harmonization Code : 3919.10.80 | Other self-adhesive plastic rolls not exceeding 20 cm wide.

Main features
- Lower-Viscosity Adhesive Primer for Bonding Liquid Polyurethanes
- 160 cP Application Viscosity
- Required for Optimum Strength Before Heat Activation
Product Description
CONAP® AD-1147-C Adhesive Primer is the lower-solids, lower-viscosity version of CONAP AD-1147 for bonding liquid polyurethane compounds to prepared inorganic and organic substrates. The amber solvent-borne primer is documented for aluminum alloys, magnesium, iron, steel, glass, glass-fiber laminates, wood, and leather. It may be brushed, sprayed, roller coated, or doctor bladed, but two coats are required for optimum bond strength. Typical properties include 160 cP viscosity, 14% solids content, 0.86 specific gravity, and 15-month shelf stability.
Key features
- Low-viscosity primer: Typical viscosity is 160 cP for spray, brush, roller, or doctor-blade application.
- Two-coat bond preparation: Two coats are required for optimum strength under the documented process.
- Broad substrate coverage: The primer is documented for metals, glass, laminates, wood, and leather.
Applications / Suitable for
- Priming metals for liquid polyurethane bonding
- Spray priming glass and glass-fiber laminates
- Priming wood and leather before polyurethane cure
