Product Description
BONDERITE® C-AK ALUM ETCH 2L AERO is a slightly hazy alkaline cleaner etchant formulated to remove light soils and etch aluminum in immersion processes. Its low-surface-tension working solution promotes uniform wetting of aluminum surfaces and produces a smooth matte finish. The product is suitable for metal pretreatment of aluminum extrusions, structural shapes, aircraft components, truck bodies, and similar parts.
Key features
- Combined cleaning and etching: Removes light soils while etching aluminum during immersion processing.
- Uniform surface wetting: Low surface tension promotes even contact with the aluminum surface.
- Smooth matte finish: Produces a uniform matte appearance on aluminum components.
- Broad aluminum-part suitability: Supports pretreatment of extrusions, structural shapes, aircraft components, truck bodies, and similar parts.
Applications / Suitable for
- Immersion cleaning and etching of aluminum
