- 217 to 228 deg C Melting Range
- Low-Dross Vaculoy Processing
- Bar, Ingot, or Wire Supply
Product Description
ALPHA SACX 0307 Solder Alloy is a low-silver, lead-free tin-silver-copper alloy supplied in bar, feed-ingot, and wire forms for wave soldering and surface-mount applications. The non-PLUS grade uses the Vaculoy alloying process to remove included oxides and is designed for rapid wetting, low dross, and low bridging. Its nominal composition includes 0.3% silver and 0.70% copper. Typical alloy data include a 217 deg C solidus, 228 deg C liquidus, 7.33 g/cc density, and 14.1 HV hardness. Commercial form, dimensions, and packaging must be selected for the intended soldering process.
Key features
- Controlled melting range: Typical solidus is 217 deg C and liquidus is 228 deg C.
- Low-silver alloy: Nominal 0.3% silver and 0.70% copper composition supports lead-free processing.
- Configurable supply forms: Available as bar, feed ingot, or wire for the selected process.
Applications
Lead-free wave soldering and surface-mount applications in supported bar, feed-ingot, or wire formats.
