Product Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 3109-2U is a thermosetting, modified epoxy structural adhesive film designed for bonding honeycomb and metal-to-metal components where high strength at 300°F (149°C) is required. The family includes high-tack, knit-scrim-supported AF 3109-2K constructions and moderate-tack, unsupported AF 3109-2U constructions, with published weights from 0.015 to 0.085 lb/ft² depending on variant. Cure temperatures range from 225°F (107°C) to 350°F (177°C), and the film is documented for metal-to-metal and honeycomb sandwich applications over a temperature range of -67°F to 300°F (-55°C to 149°C). The unsupported version can be reticulated on honeycomb.
