3M 5925

3M VHB Tape 5925 is a black, double-sided modified acrylic foam tape for permanent attachment on painted and powder-coated surfaces. Its conformable foam core and modified acrylic adhesive provide a 0.6 mm applied thickness and immediate handling strength without a curing step. The tape combines high shear strength, conformability, and surface adhesion and is rated for long-term use up to 93 deg C. It is used for trim, nameplates, electronic displays, panel-to-frame and stiffener-to-panel bonding, with documented adhesion to materials including stainless steel and other compatible surfaces.
