Product Description
3M™ Aluminum Foil Tape 427 combines a nominal 3 mil dead-soft aluminum foil backing with a transparent acrylic adhesive and an easy-release paper liner. The tape provides a conformable metallic surface for industrial masking, holding, patching, sealing, splicing, and heat-reflective applications. Its low water-vapor transmission rate supports moisture-barrier uses, while the aluminum backing reflects heat and light. The tape is flame resistant, meets the requirements of FAR 25.853(a), and carries documented UL 746C and UL 723 Class “L” ratings.
