Product Description
3M Single Step Primer 08681 is a black, one-part polyurethane primer for promoting 3M auto glass urethane adhesion to glass, primed pinchweld metal, PVC-encapsulated parts, and PAAS systems. The liquid primer requires no activator and dries for at least 10 minutes at 21 deg C and 50% RH. It also functions as a blackout primer for shielding urethane from ultraviolet exposure and as a touch-up coating for minor bare-metal pinchweld scratches. The product is an application-stage primer within the 3M glass urethane bonding system, not a stand-alone adhesive. The 08681 grade is supplied in a 125 mL aluminum bottle.
