3M Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive 08001 is a yellow, one-part solvent-based adhesive for attaching rubber weatherstripping and gaskets to metal. It brushes and spreads directly from the tube, forming a flexible waterproof bond that resists vibration, oils, detergents, solvents, and temperature changes. The adhesive also bonds vinyl, fabrics, rubber, and metal for automotive trim work. Its quick-curing handling profile keeps weatherstripping in place during repairs on doors, trunks, sunroofs, and headliner assemblies, combining direct application with the flexibility needed for components exposed to movement and changing service conditions. The 08001 grade is supplied in a 5 fl oz tube.
