3M Acryl-Green Spot Putty 05096 is a one-component acrylic spot putty for filling minor surface defects before automotive refinishing. The air-drying green material spreads in thin layers and feathers to smooth edges, supporting localized repairs without mixing. Its fast-drying formula is intended for small-area work, and the application thickness must remain 0.16 cm or less. Apply it to clean, sanded, primed surfaces, allow the layer to dry, and sand before priming or top coating. The material is suited to pinholes, sand scratches, stone chips, and other minor blemishes, with controlled spreading, low shrinkage, and smooth edge blending. The 05096 grade is supplied in a 410 g aluminum tube.
